Jurgen Emery  -  Senior Consultant

Supports organisations in coordinating projects and animating diverse teams in the multiple environments of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

J.Emery is currently supporting an international telecommunications operator in the coordination of its multi-partner office services consolidation program within the group.

Recently, J.Emery has coordinated activities in two European projects of the 6th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development. His trilingualism (English, French and German) enabled him keep the integration phase of a telecom consortium on schedule, with key players from Germany, France and the UK. His accessory legal experience enabled him to draft the bilingual statutes of a new international association, for which he also launched the website.

For seven years prior, he was responsible for and the primary contact of the business partners supporting the intranet of Lucent Technologies in Europe, Middle East and Africa with, on average, 30 multi-platform projects to coordinate simultaneously. He designed and deployed a detailed tracking process for 25 suppliers, reducing costs and ensuring optimal service levels.

He received the “High Performance Award” in 1999.

He also has a thorough knowledge of Shell tools, of network systems (TCP/IP, Novell), of operating system platforms (UNIX in general: SunOS, HP-UX, Linux, SCO; WindowsNT, and Mac) and of database information systems (Oracle, Ingres, SQL, ...).

His scientific training (B.Sc. in Physics – University of Sussex and Imperial College; M.Sc. in Computer Studies – University of Essex), together with complementary business training (“Professional Consultancy” – Institute for the Development of Professional Consultancy, France), complete his experience for assisting multinational clients in Europe with the coordination of multilingual teams.

J.Emery has just published his study thesis “The Ergonomy of Communication in Project Management: The Case for an Integrated Project Management Platform”.
